The Bar Dogs

THE BAR DOGS

Formed in August 2015 by ex-Blindfolds frontman John Gerrard O’Neill and ex-Velveteen Saints frontman Tino MacDonald, The Bar Dogs quickly caught the attention of the Scottish Music Industry for their version of high octane Rock n’ Roll. They spent 2016 recording their debut album and attaining high profile support slots with the likes of Glasvegas and The View. This resulted in several headline shows in their hometown of Glasgow. The recordings were then noticed by Proclaimers bass player Garry John Kane of Button Up Records. Button up decided to finance the record that is set for release on April 21st 2017. The sound and band have been described as ‘romantic & fearless’ which sums of the power, ethos and belief of the Bar Dogs.
